I need a movie title...ASAPo.o?

"1 - A family moves to a mysterious house.
2 - Something wrong with the attic! Noises come from attic.
3 - The scene i remember best: The man goes to attic and there's a
locked door and strange object near it in the attic. The light shines
on that object so that shadow of that strange object appears on the
door like a finger pointing that door.
4 - At the end, the monster like yeti, ogre or something comes out
from that hidden room behind the locked door. I remember that the
electricity goes out and in the dark, we hear the footsteps of the
monster coming downstairs!"

it was just as The Human Brain says..but someone gave the wrong
answer. its NOT "Signs", thats an alien movie and this is not an alien
movie..its a monster movie. i reeeally need this question answered
